Nexi Payments Greece S.A. is a licensed Payment Institution and securely manages card payment transaction data, in accordance with the regulatory framework for card transaction security management. Nexi is certified according to the PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), and undergoes periodic audits by a specialised consulting firm.
All Nexi services operate through secure connections with the TLS 1.2 protocol and 128-bit SSL encryption. The 3D Secure service is also supported, an additional security measure for Visa & Mastercard cards. The payer must enter their personal secret code to successfully complete the transaction.
The online store does not store card details on its servers — details are entered directly on the Nexi XPay platform.
