Evangelos Papoulias was awarded a BA in the History of Art and a PhD in Heritage Management from the Department of History and Archaeology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He also graduaded with a MSc in Cultural Management, Communication and Media from Panteion University. He teaches “Cultural Policy and Management” at the postgraduate programme “Cultural Organisations Management” of the Hellenic Open University. In 2015, he was appointed Head of the Department of Museums and Historical Archives of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has published a number of articles on cultural management issues and his research interests include activities, initiatives and policies for the promotion of cultural capital and heritage.

Sotiria-Alexandra Sakellariou graduated with a BA from the Department of English Language and Literature and an MSc in Higher Education Administration from the Department of Early Childhood Education of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has worked as a teacher in a private school and language schools, and since 1985, she has been working as the N.K.U.A. Since September 2011, she has been Head of the Department of Public Relations, Etiquette and Cultural Events, and since January 2016 Head of the Directorate of Public-International Relations and History of the University.

Foteini Fragkaki gratuated with a BA from the Department of Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art from the Higher Technological Institution of Athens (today the University of Western Attica) and holds an MA in Museum Studies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Since 2001, she has been working in Conservation Departments in Greek museums on the conservation and collections management as well as the organisation, installation and as a courier for works of art in Greece and abroad (Benaki Museum, Greek Folk Culture Museum). She has also collaborated with various cultural organisations and private collectors. She has participated in international conferences with papers and publications on collection conservation issues and museum interpretation. Since 2018, she has been working at the Athens University History Museum.

Elena Kitta graduated with a BA from the Department of Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art from the Higher Technological Institution of Athens (today the University of Western Attica) and holds two MA degrees in Museum Studies, Collections Management and Exhibition Curation (Leicester University, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens). She has participated in European and national research programmes on culture, museums and collections. She has published articles and presented papers in international conferences on cultural issues, museums and exhibitions as well as contemporary museological practices. Since 1997, she has been working at the Athens University History Museum.

She graduated from the Department of Theatre Studies of the School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a MSc in Cultural Organisations Management (Hellenic Open University) and a MA in the History of Art (Courtauld Institute of Art). She is a PhD candidate at the University of Bern (Institute of Art History). During her undergraduate and postgraduate studies, she was a recipient of the Antonis Papadakis Scholarship of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. For more than 20 years, she has been working at the Athens University History Museum in the organisation -coordination and realisation of scientific, educational and artistic activities and events for different groups of visitors and in the documentation of collections.

Irini Savvani graduated with a BA in the History of Art form the University of Paris I Panthéon – Sorbonne in Paris. She holds a MA (D.E.A.) in Contemporary Art from the same university. She has collaborated, amongst others, with the National Library of Greece
